| STYLED SHOOT | Glamourous Romance
It is luxe, it is extravagant, it beyond gorgeous and it is giving us all the feels!
This richly romantic styled shoot is schooling us in how to make your wedding steal the show.
The lady behind this enchanting styling is local talent and Save The Date fav Samantha, of Willow &Rust Weddings, who gives us the lowdown...
Samantha says…
“A fairy-talestyle wedding shoot? a beautiful castle by the sea? Who could say no? I wanted to create a rich warm fairy tale vibe without going down the stereo typical storybook route.
So I chose to take the essence of a fairy tale and bring it to life, the beautiful big wedding dress, the handsome prince, the over the top décor, sumptuous banquet style tables and, of course, the castle itself”.
The set up went perfectly to plan and looked amazing. Our celebrant Toni from Esquiress Ceremonies performed a very realistic ceremony, which maybe felt a little too real at times for our model couple who are not yet married. I think the odd tear was shed, as well as some slightly awkward giggles.
Being eco were possible…
“An important aspect of the planning was to stay true to my ethos and be as eco-friendly as possible, especially as we were already travelling. But with fellow eco suppliers such as Simone from Ellie and Liv and Catherine from Inspired Floristry on board we were already on the way. I also chose to source a pre-loved wedding dress and I found an amazing one online that was only around the corner from Willow and Rust HQ. With a quick clean and a few alterations to fit our gorgeous model it was ready to go and looked like it had been made for her.
A wine mixing ceremony was a highlight!
and a little different. All in all I think we captured the fairytale essence perfectly, especially as the light faded and we lit all of the candles.
No one wanted to leave, we could have stayed there all evening and had a party of our own in the beautiful candle lit chapel.
”Make-believe brought to life and we can’t get enough of it. Thanks so much for sharing this dreamy shoot with us.

The variations of deep purple give real depth of colour and are a welcome change from the usual burnt orange and brown we see this time of year. Teamed with the hunter green, these colours are perfect for both indoor and outdoor as highlighted in the final images.
