Vickie says “Food has to be one of the most important elements of a wedding and is something that couples can spend hours on to make sure it's just right. Often, this is a formal meal, but sharing platters are becoming more and more popular, especially for couples wanting a relaxed, laid back feel to their wedding. Sharing platters invoke that feeling of the Mediterranean with people gathered around big tables, laughing and enjoying food and drink. We wanted to create that look and feel with an amazing food spread, combined with beautifully relaxed florals and styling. We used a gentle palette of green, ivory, soft grey and copper to create this style, which also complimented the natural brick of the barn venue perfectly. “
The Old Cow Sheds is set in the Leicestershire countryside, near Melton Mowbray. It's perfect for smaller weddings of around 65 people in their converted barn, and has an amazing covered courtyard with loads of festoon lights, so even if it rains, the party doesn't have to stop!
