Romance at Belgrave Hall

Well while the summer sun is missing from the Midlands, we will be sure to bring you all the bright and zesty vibes! Inspired by the current trend for smaller more laid back weddings, this styled shoot is showcasing on our the county's lesser known gems; Belgrave Hall.

Dating back to 1709, this lovingly restored former family home provides the perfect backdrop for a more intimate wedding ceremony. Nestled within two acres of serene walled gardens, Belgrave Hall and its surrounding outbuildings, retain much of their original architectural character, period features and detailing.

There are three ceremony rooms to choose from at Belgrave Hall accommodating from 35-150 guests. Featured within the photoshoot, is the former Stable Block with its rustic charm and doors opening onto an attractive enclosed cobbled courtyard area, that make the perfect location for laid back and more intimate ceremonies and receptions.

Changing with each season, the gardens are a wonderful space for you and your wedding guests to enjoy. Woodland, formal gardens, glass greenhouses, colourful flower beds, fragrant Edwardian roses and ancient mulberry trees all provide the perfect backdrop for photographs.

“A lush orange and yellow colour palette was inspired by the variety of fruit, flora and fauna that cover the two acres of Belgrave Hall’s walled gardens during our late Summer period. Wanting to create a really fresh look against the beautiful white brick painted Stable Block walls, we used neutral fabrics to really make the stationary, beautiful florals and lovely saffron and yellow candles pop. Like the gardens that enclose the venue, we wanted to curate table settings that are full with different shapes and textures and they even include Quince fruits gathered from the orchard. We wanted to show that having a smaller wedding, doesn’t mean that you can’t go big on details, giving both you and your guests a day to remember.”
