When Less Is More

This fuss-free and understated style of wedding décor can create a BIG impact!

Whilst it might look simple, there is quite a knack to pulling off minimalist wedding styling. So how do you elevate bare and boring into striking simplicity? We’ve created our top tips to help you pull it off…

A Floral Focal Point

When everything else is carefully paired back, it gives you the opportunity to make one element really shine! Letting your florist go to town on a truly showstopping installation is always going to be a winner.

Texture Above Colour

Keeping your colour palette restricted is key to achieving this en-vogue look. Stark wedding whites or a warmer collection of neutrals will work equally well for your base and, of course, a couple of carefully selected accent colours can be added. But think about adding depth differently by using a variety of tonal textures. Tactile ceramic elements or dried blooms, floaty draping or metal accents are all fab choices.

Let Your Venue Sing

Picking the perfect venue is especially important for a minimalist styled wedding. Whether it is raw concrete floors, white-washed bricks or expanses of modern glass, with sparse styling elsewhere your setting will need to take centre stage and let the architecture do the talking!

Simple But Effective Tablescapes

Busy table styling is not a minimalist’s friend; think clean lines and sleek modest details to create an uncomplicated table-top. Instead pay attention to the items that are there; such as woven linen, crockery, textural stationery and even the actual table and chair selection.
