| GETTING TO KNOW | Oddhouse Farm

Nottinghamshire Venue

Have you heard? There is a new venue on the block and, let us tell you, it is a good’un!

Set in a stunning location and surrounded by open countryside, skirting the Vale of Belvoir and on the borders of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, you will find the conveniently located Oddhouse Farm.

For any of you hard-to-please wedding planners, you will be pleased to hear that at Oddhouse Farm you are spoilt for choice – you can take your pick from a variety of ceremony and reception options.

The Dutch Barn; newly converted and a twist of old with new, is specifically designed with weddings in mind. Its nod towards the industrial and combination of typically high barrel ceiling and steel features are perfectly softened with mellow waney edge oak. Boasting a contemporary, light and airy blank canvas for you to style and decorate until your hearts content; all topped off by the most stunning, far-reaching views and sunsets to die for. The Dutch Barn is available for your big day reception and is soon to be licensed for ceremonies too.

Next up is The Granary; the most charming old threshing barn which sits just a stone’s throw away from The Dutch Barn. Bursting with character and original features, it offers a cosy, rustic setting for those slightly more personal ceremonies. You and your guests can then simply mosey on over to The Dutch Barn and begin your celebrations. No taxis or negotiating traffic jams are included, or even a frantic rush to follow Great Uncle James driving the blue car in front before you get lost!

As if that wasn’t enough, The Paddock, a picturesque grassed area which boasts beautiful open rural views and stunning sunsets, is available to hire for those DIY tipi and marquee weddings during the

warmer months. But we think what makes Oddhouse Farm really unique is their “one-stop-shop” approach to weddings with its quirky, yet high quality, self-catering accommodation. From a choice of The Hen House, sleeping up to 14 guests (a home-from-home converted barn complete with log burner to snuggle up next to), Rosa The Gypsy Caravan (a super cool, luxury & bijoux shepherd's hut, perfect for a romantic stay or escape to after partying hard) and a hamlet of gorgeous bell tents offering a true glamping experience - there‘s plenty of room for all your guests to stay.

If that’s not enough to persuade you, there is even a beauty salon on-site for all your big day-prep needs. Combine all of this with amazing service and we think they’ve covered all the bases. What more could you want?!
