Something Blue, at the Folly
In the picturesque countryside of Derbyshire lies The Folly - a stunning wedding venue based at The Farmhouse in Mackworth. With a blend of rustic charm and understated elegance, it made for the perfect location for this Bridgerton-inspired styled shoot, bringing together opulent fashion, romance and sophisticated details - with the most stunning powder blue colour throughout, this theme would be fitting for any time of year.
The bride was dressed in an off-the-shoulder gown, complete with diamante waist detail and intricate lace embroidery on the veil. Her look was completed with softly curled striking red hair, fastened back with a blue hydrangea clip; the colour of which perfectly matched the decor. The groom’s pale suit complemented the bride’s vintage elegance, with soft hues of dusky blue and cream tying their looks together.

The variations of deep purple give real depth of colour and are a welcome change from the usual burnt orange and brown we see this time of year. Teamed with the hunter green, these colours are perfect for both indoor and outdoor as highlighted in the final images.
