Here we have a 2 for 1 bonanza of a wedding for you and you can bet that means a double dose of insta-worthy inspo. Housed in the former Plumtree railway station goods shed, this beautiful Victorian building has been lovingly restored into a stunning and unique venue. Tucked away within its own grounds with wonderful rural views, The Carriage Hall provides an idyllic setting for intimate wedding receptions up to grand ceremonies and celebrations. And it was here, that Kirsty and Himesh chose to host their super stylish, fusion wedding day.

When one of the Save The Date family gets married, you know it is going to be an absolute treat and Jenn, who you may have seen running the social media at our events, did not let us down. Her day was one of the most genuine and sincere weddings we’ve seen (and we have seen a lot!).

Five days before their first wedding anniversary, Lauren and Dan finally got to celebrate their wedding that should have been, following their magical lockdown elopement. Long term Save-The-Date-followers may remember this pair from the cover of 2020’s bumper edition (Lauren rocked a super cool shorts suit to die for); just two weeks before the big day, they got the news they’d waited 17 months to hear, that they could finally put on their dancing shoes and party like it was 2019 with all their closest people.

On the last day of Autumn, we couldn’t think of a better wedding to share than Charlotte & Rhys’ utterly autumnal day set within the breathtakingly beautiful Stubton Hall. A tonal delight for the eyes, with rusty oak leaves and peachy chrysanthemums aplenty, this beautiful day brings all of our fall-wedding dreams to life.

A dreamy day filled with classic romance vibes and pretty, neutral tones. Here at Save The Date, we are huge fans of the gorgeous Swancar Farm Country House and it was the perfect backdrop for Jess and Andy’s big day. The blousy white blooms mixed with sage-y eucalyptus created the most stunning tones which ran throughout the day; from cake to bridesmaids. Jess absolutely wowed in her Mikaella Bridal gown and we have fallen in love with that dramatic veil which finishes off her outfit!

If you heard a high pitched noise through the skies of the East Midlands recently, it may well have been when we first saw these pictures! We’ve been following Nottingham lass, Bex for a few years now and, especially after a year of covid postponements, we were thrilled to see her and Ryan finally tie the knot – and, let’s face it, in pretty legendary style too!

We're super excited to be sharing this gorgeous Derbyshire wedding with you today! The West Mill is a striking converted industrial mill with plenty of character and quirky spaces, making it an epic backdrop for a wedding. Becki & Martin chose this as the setting for their special day after thirteen years together, enticed by its cool industrial vibe and photo opportunities. Sometimes our amazing East Midland's suppliers go slightly further afield and Chris from Artisan X couldn't resist making the trip to Sweden to photograph the ultra cool ceremony of Moe and Peter at the stunning ice hotel and we can't blame him one bit! The frosty backdrop created these utterly spellbinding images which remind us of the ice palace in frozen and we bet that Moe felt just like a true ice queen on the day too.

Here at Save the Date HQ, we absolutely love the work of photographer Daniel Hughes; he has a real knack for capturing the most genuine and natural moments of weddings and this one is no exception! On a (rather blowy - 45mp winds to be exact!) day back in February, Suzanne & Matt tied the knot at the utterly beautiful Hazel Gap Farm. The day, filled with love, laughter, candlelight and one fly away veil, was captured so beautifully and we love how the relaxed, happy vibes of the day come screaming through the images.

Autumnal Inspo Incoming! In your imagination, conjure up an image of the dreamiest autumn wedding; welcome to Charlotte & Maia’s day! With every rust, peach and seasonal rouge tone you could wish for and a few cheeky pumpkins thrown in for good measure, the styling really does live up to our fall wedding dreams. Complete the day with oodles of fairy lights and pizza & drinks vans and this couple achieved the relaxed wedding day they’d wished for and, quite frankly, WE wish we’d got an invite.

In the picturesque surroundings of Stamford town centre, Lucy and Matt tied the knot accompanied by their friends and family. Lucy wore the prettiest Anna Sorrano gown and chose a bouquet of dusky pink and lilac blooms to complete her gorgeous look. In true, post-covid style, the happy couple went all out to celebrate with their nearest and dearest; from wellie wanging to space hopper races, a great day was had by all! We love a good flower and this wedding has them aplenty, along with boho vibes, the coolest VW camper and, quite possibly, the most joyful bride we've ever seen! Siân and Simon created a wedding day which just perfectly represented them and their lifestyle. With caring for the environment being important to them in everyday life, they made sure their wedding day was no exception with sustainability, recycling and locality being at the forefront of the planning.

We are just so happy to see weddings going ahead again. As with every part of our lives, there are some slight adjustments to ensure safety; lower numbers, social distance measures and, of course, masks are now essentials alongside the tissues and confetti! But the course principles of weddings are exactly the same - celebrating love and sharing special moments with loved ones.
