| PRETTY PREFECT WEDDING | Hannah and Ben
Introduction
Part of our Cream of the Crop directory, Bloom Wedding Photography never fail to make our hearts flutters with their emotive, documentary style imagery. True romantics, this husband and wife team will be sure to capture those extra special, passion-soaked images, which evoke an unforgettable moment in time. As you can tell, we are huge fans so when Annie and Chris shows us Hannah and Ben’s big day, we knew you’d love it too!
Photographers often tell us that one of the most joyous parts of the day to capture is bridal prep; giddy excitement equalled only by palpable nerves, hair and make-up chaos, proudly tearful parents come together to create a crescendo of emotion and joy. This was the case as Hannah got ready surrounded by her two bridesmaid and family (who had, of course, covered the house in confetti and bunting). The attention to detail on this day starts with Hannah’s outfit; wearing a really beautiful laced gown with statement butterfly sleeves, she accessorised with leopard print shoes and a diamante “I do” bag of dreams.
The couple chose the stung Hazel Gap as their venue; a dramatic red-brick barn on the Welbeck Estate in Nottinghamshire with oodles of character. It offered the perfect setting for their relaxed day as guests mingled over canapés and drinks in the courtyard.
A really subtle tone of mauve ran throughout the styling on the day, from the cake (made by Hannah’s aunt!) to the stand-out florals and created an understated prettiness without being too overbearing.
Now, before we go, we have to talk about their gloriously golden evening portraits. Knowing the light was beyond perfect, Bloom Wedding Photography snuck the couple off to capture some wildly romantic images as the sun began to set… utterly gorgeous.

The variations of deep purple give real depth of colour and are a welcome change from the usual burnt orange and brown we see this time of year. Teamed with the hunter green, these colours are perfect for both indoor and outdoor as highlighted in the final images.
