A Lake District Mountain Adventure

Elopements are currently having such a moment and, quite frankly, when they look like this we can see why! Keeping things simple does not mean sacrificing style and the proof is in the pudding with Rachel and Matthew’s seriously romantic wedding in the wilderness. Rocking a flower crown and pink leather jacket, Rachel and Matthew set off for an outdoors escapade and hiked up the Lake District hills with their dog Archie in order to make their marital promises surrounded by stunning views.

Ever the adventurers…

The couple even braved the brisk waters of the tarn for a quick frolic resulting in some truly unique wedding day images (giving us all the Dirty Dancing feels!).

When asked what advice Rachel would give to future couples she simply says “Enjoy every second of your day and appreciate every adventure that comes your way!” and it is clear that they did just that!
