Living la dolce vita in the heart of Yorkshire, introducing the new Mr & Mrs Smith! And this is one wedding we wished we had been on the guest list for. With the most incredible details from the timeless fashion, to the ‘rustic luxe’ décor, Ellie & Matthew’s special day was captured fabulously by photographer Sophie Ruck.
The couple got married at Wharfedale Grange: a luxury wedding house and barn venue in the heart of Yorkshire. “They offer luxury and elegance with no detail missed,” says Sophie. With stunning features from exposed brick to that glasshouse, it certainly makes for a stunning backdrop.
“The barn venue mixed with Yorkshire sunshine made for an idyllic summer wedding day. [The couple] got married on one of the hottest days of the year, which gave the day a very ’destination wedding’ feel, and the weather continued to spoil us with an unbelievable golden hour over the wildflower meadow” continues Sophie.
We’re sure you’ll agree that the photos capture this wedding beautifully, and the smiles on everyone's faces are a true testament to how much fun was had on the day - despite the sweltering British heatwave!
