Welcome to the wedding of Jess and Matt at The Pumping House

A Devine and Dark Style

If Autumn was a wedding, it might just be this one! We don’t know about you, but we have fallen head over heels for this gorgeous day.Where do we even start? Well, it has to be the outfits, of course. As if one totally twinkling, showstopper gown wasn’t enough, Jess went the whole hog and had two; starting the day in the most amazing Eva Lendel off the shoulder, insanely flattering, fully beaded gown of dreams and later slipping into a puffed shoulder stunner by Evka Allen. Not to be outdone, the groom went for black tie with a red velvet twist which perfectly matched those romantic burgundy roses seen throughout the florals.

So the couple definitely looked the part and, luckily enough, the styling didn’t let them down either. The already stunning Pumping House at Ollerton was transported to the dark side; black table clothes set the scene for forest green details (hello actual moss table runners!) and the gilded stationery suite. Dramatic (and enormous!) trees adorned with fairy lights really brought height and atmosphere to the space to complete the look!

Jess and Matt had me at ‘black table cloths’ and I fell in love with their day instantly so to say I was excited would be a rather large under statement. The stunning dark styling, two incredible bead encrusted dresses and more beautifully coloured velvet jackets than you could shake a stick at... my heaven!

All paired with the inimitable Pumping House style and my first ever experience of the incredible Back Chat Brass as a surprise to everyone after their ceremony... this day was everything and more.”
